So I can understand if it was your desire to meet the good lady herself that lead you to nominate the Sugar Spokes for a Special Achievement Award by a Bicycle Organisation in the 2009 Australian Bicycling Achievement Awards. How mysterious of you, to get to meet Ms McKew in such an innovative and unusual fashion. Wow. And it’s sweet that you’d consider nominating us. Sweet and maybe a little strange, but – no judgment – let’s just keep it at sweet at this stage.
This year, these really lovely awards will be hosting an event where the Hon Maxine McKew, Parliamentary Secretary for Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government will be the key note speaker. These are in Canberra, details as follows:
